Arsenal Battle Manchester United And Liverpool To Sign Chelsea Star In Summer

Premier League table toppers, Arsenal has reportedly joined Liverpool and Manchester United in the pursuit of Mason Mount, who is a contract rebel at Chelsea.

The 22-year-old midfielder’s current contract with the Blues expires in 2024, but negotiations for a new deal have stalled.

As a result, Mount is expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, opening up an opportunity for other top clubs to secure his services.

Despite Mount’s recent dip in form, a number of clubs have expressed interest in signing the England international.

Liverpool and Manchester United are among the clubs that have already shown their interest in acquiring the midfielder.

Now, according to reports from Goal, Arsenal has entered the race for Mount’s signature as they look to strengthen their squad in the upcoming summer transfer window.

As the Premier League leaders, Arsenal will undoubtedly be a tempting prospect for Mount, who would likely relish the opportunity to play for one of the biggest clubs in the country.

However, it remains to be seen which club Mount will ultimately choose, and fans of all three clubs will be eager to hear updates on the ongoing transfer saga.

As Arsenal gear up for a return to the Champions League and another possible Premier League title challenge, manager Mikel Arteta is looking to add some fresh talent to his squad.

While West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is currently the Gunners’ top target, Chelsea contract rebel Mason Mount has also caught their eye.

However, it’s worth noting that the Blues are unlikely to let Mount go easily, especially to a direct rival. With Todd Boehly’s recent £600m spending spree, Chelsea are under pressure to trim their squad and make some sales.

Despite the situation, former Arsenal star Paul Merson believes that it would be a massive mistake for Chelsea to sell their academy graduate.

In Merson’s opinion, Mount is one of Chelsea’s best players, and letting him go would be a significant loss for the club. Although the midfielder’s form has dipped recently, he remains a valuable asset to the Blues.

Chelsea currently sit in the bottom half of the Premier League table, and their recent exit from Europe at the hands of Real Madrid has added to their woes.

The team will have a weekend off before their next match against west London rivals Brentford on Wednesday night.

As the summer transfer window approaches, the future of Mason Mount will undoubtedly be a hot topic for discussion among football fans and pundits alike
